promoting social mobility

Bruno Wang Productions is dedicated to improving social mobility within the arts. In the UK, only 25% of people in the film industry come from lower socio-economic backgrounds, despite representing 38% of the population. This imbalance is most pronounced among writers, producers, and directors, where 61% are from privileged backgrounds.

By investing in filmmakers from underrepresented backgrounds and funding socially conscious productions, Bruno Wang Productions aims to make the arts more inclusive and accessible. The company plans to support young filmmakers through partnerships with London film schools, providing funding and exposure for films that explore critical social issues.
